Microsoft has just released a patch for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 which will close the Windows shortcut vulnerability.  This vulnerability enables hackers to take control of a computer using a loophole in the way Windows handles shortcuts.

Microsoft have confirmed that there is a flaw in Windows which will allow an information gathering trojan to access your computer via an infected memory stick.  This flaw affects all versions of Windows including the widely used Windows XP SP2 and the latest version (fully patched) Windows 7.

Whilst the world is slowly recovering from the recent financial downturn and businesses are starting to feel the recovery, Dell have more problems to contend with.
