Google+, Google’s social network, whilst still only in Beta testing has already become oversubscribed.  You can only create a Google+ page if you are invited to do so by an existing user but these invitations have gone viral and already Google have had to stop accepting new applications.

Google+ may only be in it’s infancy but it is generating a tidal wave of curiosity and excitement which has resulted in them receiving 20 million subscribers in the first 3 weeks.  You would think that this level of interest would be making Facebook and Twitter a little nervous but when you consider that Facebook has more than 750 million users Google+ has a way to go yet.  Plus Google+ subscribers don’t appear to be dropping their Facebook accounts at the moment at least.
